From surf films to art openings to live music, there is no shortage of cultural offerings happening this weekend in San Diego. Here are some of this weekend’s highlights:

The first-ever San Diego Surf Film Festival runs Friday through Sunday at Bird’s Surf Shed on Morena Boulevard.

A new Mother's Day-inspired group art show, Art Fist Collective Presents: Your Mom, opens Friday at Zepf Alt Gallery in downtown San Diego.

The Jezabels with Benjamin Francis Leftwich perform Saturday at The Casbah in downtown San Diego.

Southern Style: New Works by Tocayo and Nick McPherson” opens Saturday at the Thumbprint Gallery in La Jolla.

Fresh Sound Series featuring BRIM (Eve Beglarian, composer/performer, and Mary Rowell, violinist) happens tonight (Thursday) at Space 4 Art in downtown San Diego.

Delta Spirit performs Saturday (sold-out) and Sunday at The Belly Up in Solana Beach.
