Soldier Killed By Rocket Propelled Grenade In Afghanistan

U.S. Army Sgt. Jason M. Swindle, 24, died September 20, in Panjwa’l, Afghanistan. He was killed when the enemy attacked him with a rocket propelled grenade while he was on mounted patrol, according to the Department of Defense.

Swindle was from Cabot, Arkansas. He assigned to 1st Battalion, 64th Armor Regiment, 2nd Heavy Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Georgia.
