Hang onto your hats, Halloween is almost here!
George can’t wait for the festivities to begin: pumpkin carving, costume contests, and especially the annual Boo Festival in town.
But the real fun begins when Bill tells George and Allie about the Legend of No Noggin — a spooky tale about a hat-kicking scarecrow that haunts the countryside on Halloween.
Though George and Allie aren’t spooked by the story, they are determined to find out if No Noggin is really real.
But for a curious little monkey, a bigger question remains: What is George going to be for Halloween? A pirate? A clown? A magician?
The pressure’s on because the first prize for winning the costume contest is the Suckerpator 2000, a high tech vacuum for picking up leaves.
The Man with the Yellow Hat’s sore back could surely use a break from raking all those leaves…and George could jump in leaf piles over and over again. George is determined to win best costume!
Meanwhile, George finds an old photograph — of No Noggin! Then he discovers an antique map revealing that the tree where No Noggin kicks hats is actually beside the Man’s house!
The legend of No Noggin’ is real…and he’s haunting George’s front yard!
With Allie’s help, George tries to find the one thing that will stop No Noggin from returning on Halloween – a noggin! After George assembles the perfect costume, of course!
Will George’s quest for the perfect costume interfere with his quest for the truth? Only the curious will find out!
