SD Fringe Preview: 'PIG Talk'

Asian Story Theater stages "PIG Talk" at the 2019 San Diego International Fringe Festival.

Asian Story Theater has had a presence in the arts community for years working to broaden multicultural awareness and understanding by dramatizing Asian and Pacific Island stories, arts and themes for family audiences.

The show offers a parody TED TALK to address and correct the centuries of abusive pig lore from around the world. Featuring Rhys Green as The Pig, along with the Monkey King, The Three Little Pigs and Steve, and the true Macbeth: MacRIB.

"PIG Talk" opens Friday at World Beat Center at 7:30 p.m. with additional shows on June 13 at 9 p.m., June 14 at 7:30 p.m., June 15 at 9 p.m. and June 16 at 1 p.m.
