Friday is the first full day in office for San Diego's new mayor, Todd Gloria. He joins KPBS Midday Edition on Friday to discuss some of his plans for his time in office.

Friday is the first full day in office for San Diego's new mayor, Todd Gloria.

Mayor Gloria and five new city council members were sworn in Thursday in a virtual ceremony. Gloria promised in his first 100 days in office to focus on San Diego’s major problems of homelessness, and the public health and economic crisis created by COVID-19.
