Friday is the first full day in office for San Diego's new mayor, Todd Gloria.
Mayor Gloria and five new city council members were sworn in Thursday in a virtual ceremony. Gloria promised in his first 100 days in office to focus on San Diego’s major problems of homelessness, and the public health and economic crisis created by COVID-19.
Gloria joins KPBS Midday Edition on Friday to discuss some of his plans for his time in office.
