As the coronavirus pandemic continues to worsen, local governments across the U.S. have taken action to cancel large gatherings in an effort to slow the spread of the virus. Everything from sporting events to elections to religious gatherings have all been shutdown for the duration of the outbreak.

San Diego County health officials issued new public health orders banning all gatherings larger than 50 people. Bars have been closed and restaurants have been limited to take-out and drive-though services only.

KPBS will continue to update this list of local, regional and national major events cancelations.
