Maureen Cavanaugh: For all of us, the unrelentingly bad economic news of the past year has been disturbing and unpleasant. But for some of us in San Diego, the recession has been a devastating and life-changing event.
This morning, we're going to survey some of the damage done by the economic downturn in San Diego. We'll hear stories of people who have had to cope with losing a job, finding somewhere to live or signing up for help they never expected to need.
