Mexicans Welcome Immigrant Work Rule Proposals

President Bush's plan to grant temporary work permits to illegal immigrants now living in the United States will affect an estimated 8 million to 10 million undocumented workers. Half are Mexican. Mexican President Vicente Fox has long sought such a deal, and initial reaction in Mexico is positive. NPR's Gerry Hadden reports.
