Bhutto Escapes Death on Return to Pakistan

In Pakistan this week, former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto narrowly escaped death after her convoy was bombed during her homecoming celebration.

Up to 136 people were killed in two suicide bombs, but Bhutto was not injured.

Soraya Sarhaddi Nelson speaks with Scott Simon about the current political situation in Pakistan.
