Andrew McAllister joins Joanne Faryon on Thursday's show.
Residents are becoming more and more concerned about the possibility of a nuclear accident in light of the disasater at the Fukushima Dai-ichi plant in Japan.
A group, San Clemente Green, went to their city council asking for a resolution to shut down the power plant.
Now a Solana Beach resident will be doing the same. Torgen Johnson will make a presentation to the Solana Beach City Council on November 16. He told the North County Times he doesn't see himself as an anti-nuclear activist, just a concerned citizen.
On Midday, we'll talk to the North County Times reporter who covered the story, and we'll speak to Andrew McAllister on KPBS Midday and KPBS Evening Edition.
