Many find using fitness or wellness apps are a great way to monitor their health, keep tabs on their mental state or track their diets.
But a new study finds that privacy may be at risk when using health apps on your mobile phone.
Beth Givens, director of the Privacy Rights Clearinghouse says no one should assume any data is private in the mobile app environment. In some cases, third parties can access all this private health data and use it for purposes you never sanctioned.
