Kevin Compston, retired from the United States Army Reserve, is a former Marine who served as a Chaplain in the U.S. Army Chaplain Corps the latter part of his military career. He served on active duty and in the reserve nearly 30 years and is a Desert Storm veteran. Since 1995, he's served in the civilian ministry. In this new blog post, which he says he wrote on behalf of all veterans experiencing a crisis in their lives and dedicates it to his family, he speaks courageously and candidly about dealing with the horrors of war he experienced, and urges his fellow veterans to do what he did: seek help.
