Home Post recently brought you the story of military widow Kimberly Vaughn. Her husband Aaron Vaughn, a Navy SEAL, was one of 30 American servicemembers killed in Afghanistan on August 6th when their Chinook helicopter was shot down. Since her husband's death, Vaughn had been wearing his wedding ring on her thumb.
Vaughn lost the ring on October 1st traveling from Houston, Texas to Charlotte, North Carolina. The photograph at right, taken by Kimberly's father, shows her wearing the ring on the flight out of Houston.
Vaughn has put together a Facebook page to get the word out about the lost ring. She also did an interview today with Fox News. Take a look:
