The brothers of U.S. Navy Cmdr. L. John Regelbrugge III, 49, found his body Tuesday, making the Regelbrugge one of at least 24 people killed in the Washington state mudslide. The Navy is investigating a shooting at Naval Station Norfolk that left two men dead - one a sailor and one a civilian. According to the Navy, the killing of the sailor took place aboard the USS Mahan late Monday night. Naval security forces then killed the civilian believed to be the assailant.

The Air Force has scheduled an Article 32 hearing to take place May 12 for Air Force Staff Sgt. Sean M. Oliver. The hearing, akin to a civilian preliminary hearing, will determine if there is enough evidence for a court-martial in connection with the strangling death of Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Dmitry Chepusov.
