'California Way' Provides Model for Bipartisanship

"The California Way" is what Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger calls the bipartisan cooperation that led to a productive year that included groundbreaking legislation and an on-time budget.

Schwarzenegger said the approach should be a model for the nation.

But after an incredibly divisive period just one year earlier, how deep is this new cooperation? Does it have a chance of lasting? And is California's partisan peace treaty a viable model for the rest of the country?
