S.D. County To Hold Mass H1N1 Vaccination Clinics

A series of five mass H1N1 vaccination events will take place in San Diego County beginning this Friday, according to San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA). The vaccinations are available to everyone, regardless of age or medical background. The first clinic is scheduled for this Friday at Qualcomm Stadium.

“This is a true public health effort by the County to get people vaccinated, and by getting your H1N1 vaccine, you’re not only protecting yourself but protecting your loved ones and neighbors,” said Dianne Jacob, Chairwoman of the San Diego County Board of Supervisors.

“We would like to remind county residents that H1N1 is still very active in our communities,” said Jacob.

This policy was shaped through months of training with the Poynter Institute and feedback from the community. You can read the full policy here.
