  • KPBS is holding a second preview screening event of "THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION" - Ken Burns' new documentary film. This new event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 13 at 5:45 p.m. at the City of Carlsbad Library. The event is free to attend and registration is now open! THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION is a new six-part, twelve-hour series. It tells the story of America’s founding struggle, the men and women of the Revolutionary generation, and the crisis that they lived through. THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION premieres nationwide on Sunday, November 16 and airs for six consecutive nights through Friday, November 21 at 8 -10 p.m. on KPBS TV.
