  • Hey Pumpkin Fest Fiends, With the Padres potential continuation into post-season play, the Great Pumpkin Beer Festival will be taking a hiatus for 2022 to root for our home team. The event will return in 2023 for a twice as epic gourd-centered celebration. The event venue lies just a few blocks away from Petco Park and with the uncertainty of a potential Padres home game conflicting with GPBF, we have been tossed some rotten apples and impassable uncertainties. This October, we will cheer for our beloved home team knowing we will meet again in 2023. If you had already purchased tickets, your full ticket refund including service fees is being processed and will show in your account within 7 business days. The Great Pumpkin Beer Festival Saturday, October 22, 2022 | 2:25 p.m. - 8:55 p.m. The legendary Seattle Great Pumpkin Beer Festival returns to San Diego for a mischievous round 2 of pumpkin themed brews, live entertainment, twisted experientials, squash-based foodie creations, hidden surprises and so much more! On Saturday, October 22 from 2:25 p.m. to 10:25 p.m., the streets of the Gaslamp Quarter will be transformed into a gourd-geous mecca of all things nonsensical as misfits unite to celebrate brews, boos and beats. The rock star of the day will be the Pumpkin flavored craft brews accompanied by farmhouse flavors, fresh hops, wet hops, saisons and more to give your palette an autumnal explosion of over 40+ seasonal concoctions. Pockets of taps will be scattered through the venue with coveted brews popping up in unexpected corners. This is one party you don’t want to be late for! The fest kicks off with the ultimate keg tapping as rivers of beer flow straight into your commemorative cup from the over 1000lbs of giant pumpkin kegs. The power of pumpkin does not stop at libations and will inspire specialty foodie creations at the food booths & trucks! Sample squash inspired flavors with everything from butternut squash pizza, to pumpkin egg rolls, pumpkin bao buns, pumpkin chili and more! Full menus of other bar-foodie favorites will also be available. Themed experientials will catch you off gourd at every turn as you navigate a non-formulaic corn row maze, step through photo ops of anarchy, glimpse your fate in a corner of clairvoyant readers and stumble upon the gravity defying twists of striking themed performances. In this world undefined by logic, SteamPunkin presides as a meld of steampunk, punk rock and all things pumpkin. Expect the unexpected with a roguish line-up of bands and DJs that give you just the right off-kilter balance of edge and energy. A little friendly competition never hurt nobody!
