San Diego Automotive Museum has under gone an immense transformation. The exterior of SDAM has been painted to match its historical 1935 color for the California Pacific International Exposition; four beautiful mural representations of commerce, scenic beauty, agriculture and industry now adorn the museum entrance. The inside of SDAM has transformed as well including new flooring, an installed lift, and an ever-evolving collection of one of a kind cars. The San Diego Automotive Museum has a multi-million dollar ever-evolving collection of cars, motorcycles and memorabilia. We are located in sunny San Diego within Balboa Park. Museum Hours: Tuesday to Friday from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Last admission at 4:30 p.m.) Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Last admission at 4:30 p.m.) CLOSED on most Mondays and some holidays ADMISSION: Adults $14 Seniors 65 and older $10 Military with ID $10 Students with ID $10 Youth 6 – 17 years old $7 Children 5 and under Free The Mission of the San Diego Automotive Museum is to tell the story of the social and technological past, present, and future of motorized vehicles throughout its collections, exhibitions, and educational programs. We currently host Cars & Coffee every third Sunday of the month; we invite the public and local car enthusiasts to come talk everything cars and enjoy coffee and donuts provided by Geico Encinitas.
