As the work is being performed, members of the public will have the opportunity to walk and bike the highway while helping to clean it up and learn more about the Reconnecting Communities: Highways 2 Boulevards Pilot Program. Caltrans, SANDAG, Mundo Gardens, and the Urban Collaborative Project CDC will host this family-friendly event, which will include booths from public agencies and community organizations, live art demonstrations, and other engagement activities.
