Viva La Música is back at SeaWorld San Diego every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from May 3 to May 19, celebrating Latin culture through live music, entertainment, new, flavorful food and festive decor. This year, the family-friendly event is bigger and better than ever as SeaWorld celebrates its 60th Anniversary. Celebrate Independence Day at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park California State Parks invite you to celebrate an old fashioned Fourth of July at Old Town San Diego State Historic Park! Visitors can join park staff and volunteers celebrating as early San Diego residents did in the 1800s with games, crafts, and live music from Big Mountain Blue Grass Band. Children will learn about the safe use of hand tools as well as the properties of wood. Along the way, we’ll make fun and functional projects the children can later take home, including a group project that fosters teamwork, collaboration, and creative problem solving. Projects and depth of skill exploration are matched up to the children’s age/ability. This camp is recommended for children 8-12 years. OPTIONAL | Lunch Hour Supervision If there is a camp ending as ours begins and you need your child transferred, let us know! And, if you’d like your camper to stay during the lunch hour, there’s a $25 fee for the week to cover the lunchtime gap. They can bring a lunch and have lunch with us with the option to do a fun craft after lunch.
