The Carlsbad theme park kicks off its holiday celebration with the return of its three-story, 35-foot-tall LEGO® Christmas Tree, built from more than 366,000 LEGO and DUPLO® bricks, at the 23rd annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on Dec. 1 at 5:45 p.m. This year’s ceremony will feature special guest and actress Danielle Fishel, best known for her role as Topanga on “Boy Meets World,” as the honorary tree lighter. Guests can gather around the iconic LEGO tree to witness the magical moment when all 500 LED lights and 40 LEGO candles come to life. The celebration continues with the season’s first holiday fireworks show, adding an extra burst of cheer to the evening.
