  • Engaging Kids and Families Across San Diego County

    KPBS Kids offers a wide range of programming to cultivate diverse audiences and educate, enlighten, and entertain families in the San Diego region. Events serve to create a connection between KPBS in the San Diego community and beloved PBS Kids programming. KPBS Kids also serves as a connector in the community to bring together partner organizations and facilitate the sharing of resources.
  • Ramona Chamber of Commerce will present the First Annual Tacos & Beer Fest. The Chamber plans to hold this family event annually to celebrate Cinco de Mayo and add more activities each year.Seven food vendors will be participating. Each of five taco trucks will feature a specialty taco and sell their full menu as well: Sophia’s Kitchen: Quesabirria Tacos; Tacos al Gusto: Taco Trio (Lengua, Cabeza, Tripas); FallBrkeats: Korean Taco; Tacos Rápido y Sabroso: Al Pastor; and Los Cachos Birria: Enchilado Taco. La Michoacána Sonmex will offer Mexican munchies and Café Lotería will serve churros and corn in a cup along with other goodies. Enjoy your favorites with some Mexican beer, tequila shot, or Micheladas. Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.Live music all day long will feature Banda 619, Sangre Azull, and Los Nuevos Ayalas.
