  • The San Diego Excursion is a repeat of the 1915 San Diego Road Race Centennial Celebration. Please join us on January 12th from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. to see over 50 vintage cars driving through Bankers Hill and Mission Hills as they travel to Point Loma to reenact the route used in the 1915 Point Loma road race, which was put on in conjunction with the start of the Panama-California. We'll leave the Automotive Museum in Balboa Park at 9AM and travel along the streets shown on the attached map. We’d love to wave and honk our old horns as a way of saying thanks for coming out to view the cars go by. You can stage anywhere along the route shown on the attached flier. Feel your way through the dark dense fog of the ghost filled graveyard, meander through the Demented Doll Island fishing village and see the Doll Keeper assemble his creepy creations. Climb aboard the Ghoul Bus where zombie prisoners share the horrifying ride with you, push your way through the adrenaline crazed clown house. Check in to the Haunted Hotel and visit the possessed girl in room number 666. Louisiana zombies have slithered up from the slime of the bayou to chase you through the swamp with their chainsaws blaring. It’s no “walk in the park”!!
