Civita hosts its annual Arbor Day festivities, featuring a free outdoor concert and dance by the Latin salsa band Rumba Y Soul. Preceding the concert at 5:15 p.m., professional dancer Erica Dierkes will hold a salsa class. Rumba Y Soul specializes in salsa clásica, as well as nostalgic música tropical including cumbia, merengue and bachata. There will be food available for purchase. Bring blankets, picnics, beach chairs and your dancing shoes. No glass, please.
