Offstage, she teaches middle school choir, music, and soon orchestra, helping young artists tap into their creativity.Kaylee Daugherty is a staple singer of the San Diego jazz scene as well as a singer-songwriter. She has had the privilege to play at some of Socal’s finest establishments, including Music Box, The Jazz Lounge, Dizzy’s, and the Westgate with San Diego’s best jazz musicians, including Irving Flores, Ed Kornhauser and Mikan Zlatkovich. Kaylee’s favorite part of performing is bringing joy to her audiences. Her music makes kids dance and gives older folk a sigh of nostalgia.
