The experiential pop-up gallery will be open to the public from April 8 – June 17, with a grand opening celebration taking place on April 18. The figurative series explores multifaceted identities, illustrated by the illusion of overlapping transparent colors made entirely from cut and pasted tape. Known for integrating her art with the public through large-scale murals and immersive events, this year’s gallery concept is no exception. When visitors enter the gallery, they will feel like they are stepping into one of Stieber’s colorful, sparkling paintings and can engage with a host of experiential features. Visitors can step into a custom Polaroid photo ‘art booth’ adorned with colored transparencies to snap Polaroids of themselves, creating instant self-portraits in Stieber’s signature style and becoming part of the art themselves. In a special collaboration with Topo Chico Mineral Water, the brand will introduce "Sabores," their newest line of flavored sparkling waters, at the gallery in weekly "Sabores Saturdays" events. This public event series will feature live music, allowing visitors to sample the new flavors in a festive atmosphere.
