The event will bring together sports medicine physicians; former professional athletes and coaches from Major League Baseball, the National Football League and the National Basketball Association; local team general managers; athletic trainers; physical therapists; and others on the front lines of sports and athletic care. Topics will include a thorough analysis of overhead throwing athletes, such as baseball pitchers; considerations for contact sports such as football, rugby and hockey; tracking and managing mental stress in athletes; overall athletic development, performance training and injury risk reduction; and health preservation after an athletic career.
