Guided by a professional sushi chef, guests will craft Lumi’s new Specialty Roll, a hand roll, hosomaki, and the chef’s selection of nigiri, all while learning hands-on techniques to elevate their sushi-making skills. The experience includes a themed welcome cocktail plus a sake intro lesson from World Sake, featuring two complimentary pairings and exciting prize giveaways. Guests will also take home signature Lumi sauces, custom chopsticks, and a bamboo rolling mat to continue the fun at home. Liberty Station, in partnership with The Chabads of Downtown San Diego and Pacific Beach, will host a public menorah lighting at Liberty Station’s Central Promenade to commemorate Hanukkah on Sunday, December 14 at 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. in Central Promenade next to the Rady Children’s Ice Rink. The magical, family-friendly festivity will include entertainment, packaged treats, and the traditional lighting of the menorah. Following the celebration of Hanukkah, the menorah will stay outdoors on display in Central Promenade, lighting up each night of Hanukkah.
