  • San Diego's premiere songwriter showcase is back on Friday, March 22, bringing together a dynamic lineup of local talent and original music in partnership with Normal Heights United Church. About the Artists: Jesse Ray Smith: Alongside his longtime writing partner Sean Cox Briar, Jesse crafts songs that blend modern Americana with classic rock influences, creating a sound that is both familiar and refreshingly original. Mangosauss: A duo comprised of partners in music and marriage, Jordan and Brian Mageo-Sausser, Mangosauss was created to honor the embodied complexities of their stories. The pair first met in college, bonding over their love for pop-punk and Spongebob. They've since gotten hitched and welcomed a sassy cat named Pickle into the fam. Shane Hall: Born in the east, drawn to the west, Shane Hall's music reflects a life shaped by experience, travel, and personal growth. Date & Time: Friday, March 22, 2024. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., Show starts at 7:00 p.m. Suggested Donation: $10 (all ages), with all proceeds directly supporting the artists.
