  • Prost, San Diego! The 9th Annual East Village Oktoberfest returns to Quartyard on Saturday, September 20 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., bringing Munich vibes with a SoCal twist. Co-hosted by Quartyard and the East Village Association, the one-day event will feature craft beer, festive bites, live music, and games in a lively seated beer hall atmosphere. Expect Bavarian classics like pretzels and sausages alongside El Comal’s Mexican flavors, plus a lineup of live Polka music, tribute bands, and high-energy performances. Adding to the excitement, attendees can compete in lively Oktoberfest-themed games and competitions, hosted by local favorite SDHosted.   • The United States Eventing Association (USEA) American Eventing Championships, presented by Nutrena Feeds, is coming to Galway Downs in Temecula, Calif. for the first time. Rarely held in the West, the competition will conclude with national titles earned by horse/rider pairs in every level of the sport.
