  • On the seventh day of the Lunar New Year, tradition turns its focus to people. Renri (人日) — the Birthday of Humanity— marks the day the goddess Nuwa is believed to have created humankind, a moment that celebrates life, unity and the simple fortune of being here together. At 24 Suns, the evening unfolds as a dining room–wide birthday. Every guest is welcomed with a candle and birthday cake soft serve — a small, joyful ritual shared by all. The experience is anchored by the restaurant’s seven-course Lunar New Year tasting menu, a number chosen for its auspicious meaning. Each course carries intention for the year ahead — prosperity, balance, renewal and longevity — expressed through the winter microseason of Southern California. The meal begins with Yi Sangh (Prosperity Salad), the vibrant Lunar New Year salad traditionally lifted high with chopsticks to invite abundance and good fortune. It continues with the dramatic 17-foot longevity noodle, passed and shared at the table, its unbroken length symbolizing a long and flourishing life. (Tip of the iceberg, the full menu is lip smacking) Lunar New Year is the turning of the calendar and the beginning of the first solar term — a time to move forward with clarity and purpose. In the Year of the Fire Horse, a symbol of vitality, transformation and momentum, this day becomes a reminder that the new year is not only about fortune, but about people — the community gathered around the table. For one evening, every guest is celebrated. Every wish is made at once. And the act of dining becomes a shared beginning. Reservations at OpenTable. • AI is moving fast, faster than most teams, organizations, and leaders can keep up with. Late-stage fixes, loss of trust, stalled launches, and missed opportunities happen when responsible AI is treated as an afterthought. We Have a Powerful Tool in Our Hands, let’s shape it for human-centered impact. This workshop helps you get Build AI Right From the Start, before launch day, when decisions still shape outcomes. The choices you make today will define the AI of Tomorrow. What You’ll Learn In this 3-hour, hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to: - Apply the WIN AI™ Methodology to real-world projects - Embed human-centered thinking directly into AI workflows - Turn responsible AI into better design, stronger creativity, and smarter innovation - Leave with practical tools you can immediately apply About the WIN AI™ The WIN AI™ Methodology is WE ARE IN AI’s proprietary, human-centered approach to building responsible AI: from problem definition to deployment. Designed for real-world use in companies, schools, and public institutions, it blends design thinking, systems thinking, agile practices, and gamification into a clear, repeatable methodology. At the heart of the workshop is the WIN AI™, a five-stage journey. The methodology helps reframe AI as something you build with people, not just for them. That’s not just semantic, it’s a completely different design approach. Designing for people assumes you know what they need, builds solutions in isolation, tests only at the end, and prioritizes efficiency over understanding. Designing with people, by contrast, centers real needs from the start, encourages collaboration throughout the process, and emphasizes iteration, feedback, and continuous learning. Every stage is guided by the SPHERE dimensions: Safety, Privacy, Human-Centered, Explainable, Responsibility, and, Environmental. This approach equips teams to move from understanding challenges to designing, testing, and continuously improving AI systems that are practical, impactful, and aligned with human needs. Who Should Attend This workshop is for anyone interested in applying responsible AI to real projects: - Designers (UX, product, service) - Developers & engineers - Product managers and innovation leads - Leaders managing AI initiatives in organizations - Educators teaching or guiding AI projects - Entrepreneurs building AI-powered solutions - Anyone responsible for shaping or building AI-powered work No advanced technical background required, just curiosity, responsibility, and a desire to create AI that drives real impact, builds trust, and makes a difference for people and organizations.
