In this workshop, designed for beginners as well as seasoned writers, we’ll explore what it takes to establish the voice and mood of your story. In a community-building environment, we’ll: • Identify the promise you’ll make to your reader, and hone in on how to keep it. • Connect to the texture of the experience you want to create on the page. And, most importantly: Write in your YA voice. Remembering back to your own life at the age of your characters, we’ll work on capturing a voice that is honest and authentic.
