As an ESPY award winner, 7x Big Wave Award champion, and 2x Laureus nominee, Maya is one of the most influential female surfers of all time. She is also passionately committed to and a fierce advocate for restoring the world's ocean through her role as UNESCO champion of the Ocean and Youth and as part of the board of directors of Oceana.
