The play is about a future Solarpunk fantasy world where love, friendship, and betrayal rock the peaceful utopian lifestyle. All ages are welcome, and theatre majors are encouraged to audition. This performance is part of a research project into the benefits of theatrical arts for community health and well-being. Working with a life model, students will learn to identify and depict the core “gesture” of any pose. Emphasis is on short poses with the goal of increasing our ability to capture the body in motion. By focusing on the “verb” of the pose, and not the “noun,” we will explore the storytelling potential of the figure. This is an excellent class for those interested in animation and the entertainment arts or for anyone looking to inject more dynamism into their life-drawing practice. The San Diego chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers presents the ASID Kitchen and Bath Tour 2025. The self-guided tour will feature eight beautifully designed homes in San Diego with newly remodeled kitchens and baths. The tour will showcase an array of styles, tastes, lifestyles, and personal preferences and demonstrate the effectiveness of professional interior design in meeting specific objectives. Projects feature the latest trends in flooring, surfaces, appliances, cabinetry, color, lighting, sustainability, furniture, technology and universal design. The homes on tour, which range from sleek modern to mid-century to traditional, reflect their owners' personalities, budgets, and lifestyles.
