  • This month, LJAA will feature a demonstration by Ann Chaitin, a mixed-media artist. The demonstration will be held on Thursday, April 28 from 3-5 p.m. The demonstration will show how a variety of handmade papers, bits of nature, photos and found objects can be combined and layered to reflect a personal visual image. Chaitin says that "mixed media lends itself to working with varied textures and multiple layers, often becoming a symbolic representation of time or place or person that is real and personal."
