TWAIN HIGH SCHOOL – We provide recognition events to support students in this alternative high school program on the main campus, Mira Mesa, Morse, Crawford and Hoover High School campuses. We also provide financial scholarship support for students attending one of San Diego’s community colleges. UPPER DIVISION SCHOLARSHIPS – We provide scholarships for fulltime students who have completed community college and are transitioning to an accredited college or university in pursuit of a four-year degree or continuing in those community colleges that offer baccalaureate degrees.

Rugs have a deep history as a textile art, but also as objects that create space for comfort, thought, and worldbuilding. Using handheld tufting machines, participants can create and design their own rugs using colorful yarn. Learn how to create and translate a design for the medium as well as learn the basics of a tufting machine and begin filling in your designs. This class is perfect for ages 11+ and we kindly ask that adults actively participate in this art activity alongside any child under the age of 11.
