An instructor from Silver Age Yoga will lead a yoga program that can be done on a mat or a chair. Silver Age Yoga is a 501(c)(3) whose mission is to provide health enhancing yoga classes for seniors. Although this program is designed for seniors, all ages are welcome. Please bring water and a mat if needed. Have you ever wanted to print your own designs on shirts and bags?! In this 2-hour workshop, you’ll learn the art of relief printing! Students will learn to design and carve their own linoleum stamp and block print an image onto fabric. We invite you to upcycle fabric from your own wardrobe or home for this class, so grab a well-loved favorite item or something that could use a fun refresh and begin imagining some fun designs you might carve and print! Because this class focuses on upcycling, please bring your own fabric to block print on. This can be clothing, a tote bag or something else. You may bring more than one item and the instructor can help you choose which to print on in class. We recommend you avoid fabrics that are especially thin, like satins and silks. The spirit of innovation is alive and well in North County as young entrepreneurs prepare to launch their very own businesses at the Acton Children’s Business Fair on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at North County Mall’s Center Court (First Floor). As the largest entrepreneurship event for kids in North America, the fair provides a unique platform for children up to age 13 to create and showcase their own businesses. From handmade crafts and custom treats to original services and products, each booth is entirely youth-led—designed, marketed, and managed by the kids themselves.
