  • "Posters of Your Optimism" is an exhibition of new, imaginative and hopeful posters by local artists and designers. It opened during San Diego Design Week in late September and remains on view at Art Produce through Nov. 12, 2022. The exhibition is also visible from the sidewalk, and the posters featured can also be viewed online here.   • A virtual presentation The Museum of Photographic Arts (MOPA) is hosting its 13th annual Human Rights Watch Film Festival from February 2 to 9. The Human Rights Watch Film Festival will feature critically acclaimed films on topics including child care and education, environmental protection, gender equity, trans and Indigenous rights, women’s rights and more. On February 7, MOPA will feature a special screening of "And Still I Sing" by Fazil Amiri. Afghan Star, a popular national televised singing contest has never had a female winner.
