  • Prepare for holiday parties and learn how to make a crowd-pleasing charcuterie board with Gelson’s. On December 8, guests are invited to attend Gelson’s virtual Build Your Board event presented by Wisconsin Cheese. The pro’s of the charcuterie industry will help participants master the art of plating cheese and meat pairings. From creating salami rosettes to Fromage Forts, participants are sure to have a great time while enjoying a delectable spread. Gelson’s will prepare charcuterie kits with all the fixings for a plate full of cheese, meat, and fruit. Kits will include cheeses such as Marieke Cranberry Gouda and Sartori Merlot Bellavitano, a meat pairing of Columbus Italian Salami, snack bites including Gelson’s Sea Salt Pretzels Twists, sweet accents such as Villars Dark Chocolates, and more! Registration for the event is $49.99 and includes access to the virtual meeting and the board kit. Attendees must RSVP for the event here by December 4, 2022. Working with dioramas, props and cutouts, you'll have the chance to explore posing figures, composing and lighting various scenes.   • The Rosin Box Project (TRBP), San Diego’s Premier Contemporary Ballet Company, returns with their flagship summer program, "DEBUTS," featuring game-changing San Diego Resident Choreographers Katie Spagnoletti and Jeremy Zapanta, and internationally acclaimed Guest Choreographers, Penny Saunders and Mike Tyus. The program will be presented at the Soap Factory Extraordinary Popup Theatre, with performances Thursday, August 24 through Saturday, August 26 at 8:00 p.m. Receptions will follow the August 24 and 26 performances, giving attendees the opportunity to meet and mingle with the company artists, and an Artist Talk-Back (Q&A) will follow the August 25 performance, allowing the choreographers to speak about their work in more detail. There will also be a virtual stream of the program on August 26 at 7 p.m. (PST) to remain available until August 31. Celebrate the power of movement and ingenuity from a collection of diverse dancemakers creating profound and meaningful contributions to the world of contemporary ballet and dance.
