The Comic-Con Museum Character Hall of Fame was established to recognize and honor the most important icons of our industry and the artists and storytellers who created them. We are honored to have this iconic and spectacular hero join the Museum Character Hall of Fame and to celebrate his contribution to the popular arts on July 20, 2022. The Hunger Action Hero Art Contest winners and their Hunger Action Heroes will make their public debut at the same event as Spider-Man entering the Comic-Con Museum Character Hall of Fame. The Comic-Con Museum and Feeding San Diego launched the Hunger Action Hero Art Contest earlier this year and asked K-12 students in San Diego County to submit their vision of a Hunger Action Hero who helps end hunger through food rescue. Hunger Halter and Demeter are the top two submissions as voted on by the community. The event is Wednesday, July 20, 2022 from 5:30-9:30 p.m. (program starts at 7:30 p.m.) and tickets are available at comic-con.museum/night.
