Coming from a musical family, she’s also heavily influenced by many different styles including jazz, Motown, psychedelic rock, and alternative genres. When she isn’t writing, performing, or concert hopping Danielle works as a board-certified music therapist serving children with neurodevelopmental differences. Danielle received a scholarship to study vocal performance, songwriting, and music therapy at Berklee College of Music where she graduated cum laude in 2015.   • Create a unique Bandsaw Box! March 22 from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Bandsaw boxes are beginner-friendly and have a variety of uses. Once you make one you can make many! In this 7-hour workshop, students will create a box made from a single block of wood using the bandsaw. Students will learn to design and create organic forms on the bandsaw while observing wood grain and learning to make cross cuts and rip cuts. We will cover shop safety and methods for cutting and gluing your box. Students will also learn sanding best practices and how to achieve a perfect finish using beeswax. We welcome all makers, from beginners to advanced. Materials are provided. We recommend students bring your own eye protection, ear protection & apron. Aprons for sale here. No experience necessary. Ages 18+ welcome.   • The next free Sundown Sunday concert features Republic of Music, the ultimate cover band, performing megahits from every significant musical style. The band is known throughout Southern California for its raw, emotive energy and 600-song repertoire. The amphitheater is located in Civita Park, near the intersection of Civita Boulevard and Russell Park Way in Mission Valley. Guests are invited to bring blankets, beach chairs and picnics.
