Join us for the inaugural Carnitas Cook-Off Contest, where four talented local San Diego chefs compete to create the ultimate carnitas-inspired dish. Participating Chefs: • Pete from Angry Pete’s • Chef Andrew Bent of Papalo BBQ • Chef Ivan Munoz of The Friendly Tavern • Chef Hanis Cavin of Carnitas’ Snack Shack Event Highlights: • Live cook-off hosted by Chef Hanis • Carnitas-inspired tastings from four local chefs • Complimentary samples for all attendees • Public voting to determine the winner • Winning dish featured on the Carnitas Snack Shack menu for a limited time • Guest judges: local food bloggers and influencers • Lawn games, waterfront views, and a family-friendly atmosphere Each chef will present a unique carnitas creation, ranging from authentic classics to bold, inventive twists.
