A shelter program for homeless San Diegans dealing with inclement weather was activated Monday by the San Diego Housing Commission and the city of San Diego.

The strike is being held by the California Faculty Association. The union represents roughly 29,000 professors, librarians, coaches and other workers. The group is fighting for a 12% salary increase.

Café Sevilla is home to the longest-running Flamenco Dinner show in Southern California.
