The arts residency program is back after a pandemic pause, and the concert series continues.

For the over 30 years, the San Diego Bunnyfest has been the largest annual event and fundraiser for the San Diego House Rabbit Society (SDHRS). This event is an open-air festival. Activities include a silent auction, art social, mini educational lectures, bunny photo booth, games, children’s crafts and 30+ vendors selling bunny-themed merchandise & services. San Diego House Rabbit Society discourages bringing unvaccinated house rabbits to Bunnyfest and any other outdoor events at this time. If you choose to bring your house rabbit to Bunnyfest, they must have a current vaccine against Rabbit Hemorrhagic Disease Virus-2 (RHDV2) administered by a veterinarian. It takes a village to keep San Diego House Rabbit Society going and the operational cost per year to care for the rabbits can exceed $630, 000 per year and all proceeds from Bunnyfest help to defray those costs. Sculptor, architect, designer and naturalist James Hubbell was known for the way his organic designs, sculptures, art and buildings were informed by the natural environment. A major exhibition of Hubbell's work is still on view across four San Diego library galleries through Aug. 4, 2024.

Legendary Singer/Songwriter Judy Collins headlines The Magnolia in El Cajon on Wednesday, February 12. At age 85 and in her 6th decade, the folk icon is enjoying an artistic renaissance as well as experiencing a profound level of growth and prolific creativity. In 2022, the poetic storyteller and songwriter released her 55th album titled "Spellbound," marking the first time ever she ever wrote all the songs on one of her albums.
