Students will make a cutting board, and through that process, learn how to safely use the miter saw, jointer, planer, table saw, drill press, router; as well as how to use clamps, glue up, and apply finish to their pieces. This class is a prerequisite for Wood Open Studio and recommended for further woodworking classes to establish safe practices in our studio.   • The Intermediate/Advanced Summer Workshop is designed for serious dance students and aspiring professionals. It provides an opportunity to develop technical skills and broaden students’ dance horizons in a friendly, yet professional atmosphere. Founding Director Maxine Mahon developed this curriculum based on Russian and Cecchetti techniques and has honed it further over many years of experience. This workshop is appropriate for students ages 9 and older. Pointe work will be offered however, pointe experience is not required to participate. The daily class schedule is arranged to simulate a professional dancer’s day. Intermediate/Advanced students will participate in a variety of classes, including ballet technique, variations, character, jazz, and contemporary. 2023 Dates: Session I: July 31-Aug. 4, 2023 Session II: Aug. 7-11, 2023 Each week runs Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. Ticket Details: $450 - General Public $375 - CBS Students $300 - Military Enrollment is on a first-come, first-placed basis.
