  • Monday, February 17 from 1 p.m. – 5 p.m. Ages 7-12 welcome! This Craft Camp will focus on clay and woodworking. It will be split between two 2-hr sessions. The first session will be woodworking, and the second session will be ceramics tiny wheel throwing. Taught by skilled educators and professional artists, your child will explore these crafts in a creative and supportive setting. As we build hand skills, we’ll make fun, high-quality crafts children later get to take home. Our projects are geared to build and hone skills like hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, problem solving, teamwork/helping others, comprehension + exploration of a variety of materials — mainly wood and clay. Projects and depth of craft exploration are matched up to the child’s age and ability. It’s important that your child bring water in a refillable bottle and a snack (no candy or peanut products please). We’ll break for snack in between the sessions. If your child is enrolled in a nearby camp elsewhere in Liberty Station, and their camp is ending as ours begins, we are happy to walk your child from their camp to the studio. If you’d like your camper to stay during the lunch hour from 12 p.m. -1 p.m., for a supervised space to eat their lunch (not provided) and a craft afterward, visit Lunch Supervision. • Military and sibling discounts. • Scholarships available. • If this class is full, join the Interest List. • If you would like to be notified of future offerings, join the Interest List.
