Pathways to Citizenship, a Solana Beach-based non profit serving qualified individuals seeking US citizenship, will host its annual Party with a Purpose fundraising fest on Sunday, Oct 13. The "sunset on the green" happy hour will feature steel drum band "Sounds of Paradise," tasty international cuisine, tropical beverages and the opportunity to win holiday packages, local entertainment, and one-of-a-kind art pieces by local artists. Support goes to pro-bono legal and educational services for Ukrainian and Afghan refugees and qualified immigrants from around the world while enjoying cool drinks, good food and sunset on the green. If you’ve never heard a flute choir perform, you’re in for a treat! A flute choir is a unique ensemble that includes all sizes of flutes, from the tiny piccolo to the bassoon-sized bass flute.
