San Diego Watercolor Society is pleased to present the opening of a water-based media exhibition titled “Under the Moon.” The opening reception will take place Friday, August 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and will feature over 95 ready-to-hang original paintings. Mockingbird Improv is thrilled to be hosting “All Hands on Deck,” a wild and wacky improv game show from 9 p.m. to 10:15 p.m.. Veltz Fine Art Gallery will be hosting a closing reception for their exhibition titled “Vital,” which features works from three artists including Kenda Francis, Laura Lehmnan, and Colleen Veltz and raises awareness for the local Project Wildlife under the guardianship of the Humane Society from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. San Diego Craft Collective will have their doors open for a community mending event taking place from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.. Kids and adults are also welcome to stop by the studio for a free Vision Board craft.
