We will be joined by the biggest and most fabulous queer chorus in Mexico, Coro Gay Ciudad de México from Mexico City, and our neighbor and new kid on the block, Coro Gay de Tijuana. Expect a powerful wave of choral sound and an emotional rollercoaster as these three queer choruses from the US and Mexico come together in solidarity and friendship, to tell their stories, fight for their rights and celebrate their common humanity. 3 Choruses, 2 countries, 1 united message, and not a wall in sight. In addition to a collection of real carnivorous species on display, get a bug’s-eye perspective with three larger-than-life installations inside and around our 8,000 square foot, glass-enclosed Dickinson Family Education Conservatory. Featuring multiple Sarracenia Trumpets, a walk-in Fanged Pitcher Plant Nepenthes, and a moving, interactive Venus Flytrap, all installations are constructed with aluminum and resin offering incredible interpretations of these unique plants.
